Great Lakes Music Studio was built around a simple idea: music education should be personal, encouraging, and something students genuinely enjoy.
Barbara Watkins brings years of teaching, performing, and music education experience to the school. Her focus is the student in front of her - helping each person grow in skill, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.

New students can start with a 30-minute introductory lesson for $28. Regular 30-minute lessons are $36, with 45-minute lessons at $54. Group Piano Class pricing is available on request.

Great Lakes School of Music offers courses in Pre-School Piano, Piano, Voice, Drum, and Guitar. All of our teachers are world-class and available to talk about your education.

Private lessons are one-on-one and customized to the student's goals. Group Piano Classes are for 7–8-year-olds new to piano, with a maximum of three students in a social, weekly-scheduled format.

Your teacher gets to know the student, learns about their experience and goals, and begins working with them at an appropriate level. Beginners are always welcome.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice. With enough notice we'll do our best to reschedule or provide a make-up lesson, subject to teacher availability.
